The Getrag 7DCL750 Weep Hole Seal Kit is the most comprehensive seal kit available for the 7DCL750 weep hole repair. It contains every seal, bearing, and hardware item we recommend replacing during this repair. Because the weep hole leak on the 7DCL750 can originate from multiple locations inside the gearbox, a partial kit that only addresses one location will not resolve the problem permanently. This kit covers all of them. So when the repair is complete, every seal that could have been the source of the leak has been replaced.

The Rear Cover Bearing Recommendation

The kit includes the rear cover bearing. We recommend removing the seal on the gearbox side of that bearing during installation. That seal, when left in place, restricts gear oil flow to the bearing. Removing it allows gear oil to circulate through the bearing and cool it during operation. This is a straightforward modification that improves bearing longevity and is standard practice on every weep hole repair we perform.

Optional Add Ons

Three additional items are available via the dropdown menus on this page. These items are pictured with the kit but are not included in the base price.

The midplate bearings (set of three) are available for $495. These bearings are inside the transmission and are accessible during the weep hole repair. Because the gearbox is already disassembled at that point, replacing them during the same service event is the most efficient approach. If they are worn, replacing them now avoids a second disassembly later.

The clutch oil filter is available for $75. It is located inside the gearbox and is accessible during this repair. Replacing it during the weep hole service is standard practice.

The speed sensor module is available for $3,500.

The speed sensor must be removed to complete the installation of this kit. If the sensor is worn or faulty, replacing it during the same service event eliminates the need to return to the gearbox for that repair separately.
