Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how HWOOD MECH, INC., doing business as Hollywood Mechanic, processes and ships ecommerce orders placed through https://hollywoodmechanic.com/. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. For order specific assistance, use the Contact Us form and include your order number where available.
Order Processing
Hollywood Mechanic prepares orders after payment authorization or capture, inventory review, and reasonably necessary fraud or address review. Processing time is the time needed to prepare an order before a carrier accepts it; it is not the same as carrier transit time. Processing periods may vary based on product availability, order size, destination, special order status, customization, carrier requirements, business days, public holidays, announced closures, and events outside Hollywood Mechanic’s reasonable control. A product page, checkout notice, order confirmation, or written transaction specific agreement that states a different period controls for that item or transaction.
Shipping Methods, Tracking, and Delivery Estimates
Available shipping methods, carrier options, costs, and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout where available. Carrier performance, tracking, routing, and delivery timing may vary by destination, service level, order value, size or weight, weather, customs, labor disruption, and carrier conditions. When tracking is available, Hollywood Mechanic sends shipment information to the email or other contact method associated with the order. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless Hollywood Mechanic expressly provides a guaranteed service in writing. Hollywood Mechanic is not responsible for a carrier’s independent acts or omissions, but this does not limit a remedy required by law or available under a particular carrier or service arrangement.
Address Accuracy and Delivery Access
You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete delivery address and required access details. If an address appears incomplete, inconsistent, or undeliverable, Hollywood Mechanic may contact you, delay fulfillment, or cancel and refund an unfulfillable order rather than send it to an address likely to fail. Contact Hollywood Mechanic promptly through the Contact Us form if you need to correct an address. We will attempt to assist before carrier processing begins but cannot guarantee a change or cancellation after fulfillment or dispatch.
Delivery Issues and Carrier Inquiries
If a package is marked delivered but cannot be located, review the delivery area, building or household contacts, carrier records, and available safe locations. Contact Hollywood Mechanic promptly through the Contact Us form so that we can review the circumstances and, where appropriate, assist with a carrier inquiry. If an order arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from the accepted description, follow the process in the Returns and Refund Policy. A request for timely notice helps investigation but does not limit a non waivable consumer right.
International Shipping, Customs, and Import Restrictions
International orders may be subject to customs inspection, duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage, import restrictions, local delivery charges, and other government or carrier fees. Unless checkout states otherwise, the recipient is responsible for those charges and for complying with destination-country import rules. Hollywood Mechanic does not misstate value, origin, contents, or purpose to evade law. You are responsible for determining whether an item may be lawfully imported and used in the destination. If an order is refused, abandoned, returned, seized, delayed, or destroyed because of import rules, unpaid charges, inaccurate information, or customer inaction, Hollywood Mechanic handles any refund or reshipment under the Returns and Refund Policy and applicable law.
Refused, Unclaimed, and Returned-to-Sender Packages
If an order is returned because it was refused, unclaimed, undeliverable due to customer-provided information, or not collected, Hollywood Mechanic may notify you and offer reshipment or a refund for eligible merchandise less properly disclosed charges permitted by law. A return shipping or restocking fee is applied only if disclosed before purchase, lawful, and not prohibited by the circumstances.
Automotive Parts and Shipping Damage
Before installation or use, inspect automotive parts, tools, repair kits, accessories, and packaging. If an item appears damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from the accepted description, do not install, alter, use, or incorporate it. Promptly submit an order issue request through the Contact Us form with the order number and photographs where reasonably available. This section does not limit a remedy for a defective product, material misdescription, or other non waivable right.
Restrictions and Changes
Hollywood Mechanic may restrict shipping where reasonably necessary for law, safety, carrier rules, product protection, fraud prevention, inventory, or operations. Hollywood Mechanic may cancel and refund an unfulfillable order rather than ship unlawfully or unsafely. Events outside reasonable control may affect performance, but this Policy does not limit an obligation or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited. Hollywood Mechanic may update this Policy for future orders when carriers, services, legal requirements, product handling, or operations change.
