The Getrag 7DCL750 CCP Gaskets seal the Clutch Control Pack valve body against the transmission housing. The CCP is one of the two primary valve bodies in the 7DCL750. It controls the hydraulic pressure that engages and releases both clutch packs in the dual clutch assembly. Because the CCP operates under hydraulic pressure during every gear change, the gaskets must maintain a perfect seal at all times. When they fail, pressure escapes past the valve body face. That pressure loss causes the transmission control unit to log CCP faults. In some cases, the gearbox loses the ability to engage the clutches correctly. These gaskets have a defined service life. Over time, the fibrous paper compresses under the clamping load of the CCP valve body bolts. It also hardens from repeated heat cycling. When the material compresses past its sealing threshold, it allows fluid to weep past the valve body face. That weeping is often slow at first and goes unnoticed until the transmission logs a pressure fault or clutch engagement quality degrades. For that reason, these gaskets must be replaced any time the CCP valve body is removed for service. Reinstalling used gaskets on a freshly serviced CCP is a shortcut that creates the next failure.

The Clutch Control Pack is responsible for managing hydraulic pressure to the dual clutch assembly in the 7DCL750. When the transmission control unit commands a gear change, the CCP routes fluid to engage the correct clutch pack and release the other. Because this happens on every single gear change, the CCP valve body and its gaskets are under constant hydraulic load.
