The Getrag 7DCL750 SAP Gasket seals the Shift Actuating Panel valve body against the transmission housing. The SAP is one of the two primary valve bodies in the 7DCL750. It controls the hydraulic fluid routing that drives the gear selection actuators. Because the SAP operates under hydraulic pressure during every gear change, the gasket must maintain a perfect seal at all times. When it fails, pressure escapes past the valve body face. That pressure loss causes the transmission control unit to log SAP faults. In some cases, the gearbox loses the ability to select gears correctly. This gasket is not a minor consumable. It is a critical sealing component.

The Getrag 7DCL750 SAP Gasket is made from a specialized fibrous paper material. This material is engineered specifically for the dual clutch transmission environment. Standard automotive gasket materials cannot withstand the combination of hydraulic fluid exposure, high operating temperatures, and the clamping pressures used in the 7DCL750 SAP valve body.
