This tool allows for the safe, leak free, pressure release from the Tenneco suspension system to allow for repair work to be performed on the hydraulic system. Once repair work is completed, this tool also provides the ability to evacuate all air from the lines and to recharge the pressure into the system. This function will allow the car’s suspension module to begin working again without the need to command pumps or valves with diagnostic scanners or dealer computers. Code clear by battery disconnection or hard reset procedure can be done without dealer scan tools or computers to allow the system to become operational again if faults are stored. This tool is vital to any shop that replaces Rivian or McLaren hydraulic suspension accumulators (a service item), lines (braided lines are often a leak point) or fluid.
All components of the tool are stainless steel or aluminum and rated to pressures of 200psi or above. Shop air connection with pressure control and water trap ensure safe operation with any shop air compressor. A minimum of 80psi is required by vehicle to allow suspension system to return to operation. All connections are leak free connectors. This is vital to preserving vehicle and shop cleanliness and functionality as hydraulic fluid is corrosive to many components in the vehicle.
All valves are clearly labeled and instructions come with the tool to guide any technician in the proper use of the tool.
