The SAP is the “Shift Actuating Panel” for the 7-speed DCT in Ferraris, Mercedes AMG GT and SLS, and the third generation Ford GT. This panel contains the hydraulic valve body that uses DCT clutch oil pressure from the Clutch Control Panel (CCP) to force the gear changes.

 

This is a brand new unit from Getrag containing all new solenoids, wiring harness (with updated abrasion resistant wire guard), sensors, and magnets (that interact with the shift position sensors).

 

Replacement of this panel resolves all faults related to the SAP (when referenced to the DCT Fault guide provided by Ferrari on the NHTSA website) IF the CCP is providing proper clutch fluid pressure to the SAP and the gear oil side of the transmission is assembled and functioning properly. If gear set is assembled incorrectly, if synchronizers have failed, if other mechanical items have failed in the gear oil side of the gearbox or if the CCP is not providing the proper oil pressure to the SAP, then replacing the SAP may not resolve your faults. Careful diagnostic procedures must be followed before purchase of this item as it is not returnable once used.
