Electronically Controlled Differential Unit Kit

Brand new from Ferrari, this factory kit includes brand new clutch plates as well as the gears and housing. This is for all models containing the electronic differential. It will resolve the issue with early models where axles for the small gears back out of place, which applies pressure to the differential locking plates. If you check your gear oil and find a significant amount of metal or black discoloration, it may be due to this failure which causes excess wear on the differential plates. Signs of failure may also be noticeable if you’re turning tight turns and notice a shutter in the rear end which especially affects early 458 models.
